TT’s 3 Years Old Birthday Party at Temecula

As you can see, I failed to take a good group photo this time. It was nearly a miracle to be able to catch our 2 birthday stars in the same shot, while Tiru had trouble performing a reliable sit stay. Anyway, happy birthday my sweet TT and Tiru! At least I remembered to charge the battery for my camera right? Jennifer even texted to remind me in the morning.

I made a chiffon cake with unsalted tuna blended in, aimed to make it smell yummy for our furry friends, good enough to make them drool but not irresistible to cause a nasty girl fight like what happened last time.
Pretty excited when making the cake with this mold I bought not long ago.

I sprinkled some shredded mint on top of the cake for the final touch, not only for decoration, mint can also help with their breaths. The icing was made with Fido’s Frosting Natural Yogurt mix by K9Cakery, it contains no sugar and no fat. You can find it below, packaging might be different now:

I didn’t wait long enough to let the icing dry before leaving the house, it kept dripping like a milky waterfall but I think birthday stars didn’t mind. TT is officially 3 and Tiru turned 11 this May, wish you two stay healthy as always, keep being two of the happiest dogs in the world!
Jennifer said this cake looks like it’s made for humans, and yes, I love baking, I don’t have too many people in my house to gobble my endless experiments, so doggie birthdays always gave me great opportunities to practice my skills ;).

Who wants a bite?

Tiru once again became my portable dishwasher, well done!

TT received a cute toy as a birthday present, thank you Jennifer.

I really love this little blue squeaky because…

It’s way too funny watching them carry it around, TT, can you really see what’s in front of you? And I wish I could capture Tinkerbelle in focus, we nearly died laughing when she ran towards us like that.

The toy is durable enough to stay in one piece even after a week, TT hasn’t pull this poor little dragon’s tummy inside out. I was actually planning to get a gift for TT’s birthday but ran out of time, so thanks to your mom thinking ahead, Thinkerbelle.

Last piece of the cake! Hey TT you got icing on your face you know that? Photos I took that day were a big mess, I wish I could blame the weather(yet that wasn’t the reason why I failed), the sun showed up for 5 minutes and was gone for almost the rest of the afternoon. LA is acting like a cranky old lady this spring, I remember it was 85°F in February and now we got rain, crazy windy days (made my neighbor’s dog go mad barking at the sound of the wind) and only 60°F at night.
There will be a 2 days Memorial Day trip coming up, fingers crossed for the sunshine, and be ready you little derp face 😉
