Winter Dash 1 : Bryce Canyon | Cornoa Arch

To celebrate 2015 Christmas We went on an extraordinary road trip to many different cities. On Dec 23 night, we passed Nevada, drove 6 hours from LA to Utah to visit Bryce Canyon on Dec 24 afternoon.

Bryce Canyon National Park

I have to admit that I am an inexperienced driver from California who has no idea people should drive under 20mph under this weather. I drifted right into the snow 5 minutes after we entered the park.

TT: Uh… Please send help?…

We visited the national park on a dark foggy day.

lucky we made it on time to see this beautiful scenery, white snow against red rocks was just stunning.

We strolled around for only a few hours and returned back to the motel. It’s a short day, but we were preparing for the bigger hike to come tomorrow.

Corona and Bowtie Arch Trail

On Dec 25 the Christmas day, we visited Corona Arch, it’s a natural sandstone arch formed near Moab.

Can’t remember how cold it was but Jennifer gave Tiru a cute hat that made her look ridiculously adorable.

Awwwwww look! you have four ears!

The hike is only 1.5 miles to the first arch.

Tiffy, I know you don’t really enjoy hanging out with a young annoying boy like TT, I can see it from your body language.

Merry Christmas everyone!

This is a short easy hike that everyone can enjoy, but the path was covered with snow. We followed the wrong footprints to the top of the hill and later realized we wasted 30 minutes wandering around.

Give us a little bit of sunshie please! 🙁

I rented a 5DSR camera for this Christmas road trip and I am totally sold. I can feel a big difference quality wise compared to the 5D3 I borrowed last winter. This camera is on another level.

If you brought furry friends, you might need to give them a hand climbing up sometimes.

There’re handles and a ladder bolted to the rock allows visitors to climb a short cliff.

We shall wait for the girls, that’s what a gentleman does.

Can you see the famous Corona Arch called Rainbow Bridge? We are getting close!

I was hoping for a clear blue sky in the background.

Like I said, the hike was easy, we reached the rock and was like… that’s it?

We met two other hikers under the arch, they kindly hid behind the arch for a few minutes so we could take some cute photos with our dogs.

Awww Tiru, look at you!

This coldness means NOTHING to me :3
I was born for snow! :3

Jennifer told me she got that hat from Target, it’s made for humans. I think it suits Tiru too well.

And all a sudden, here comes the sun! woohoo!

I was so happy to see the sun at the end, TT can you feel the sun hugging your back?

This is just the start of our 2015 Christmas trip, there are more to come TT! there will be more fun adventures tomorrow.
